Hi,
Just purchased a nice red stag and thought I would introduce myself as I amy be needing people's advice pretty soon!!!
Very pleased with the new purchase, drives lovely and brought it back from Torquey yesterday with out a hitch. The stag is a 1972 manual overdrive with the original V8. It sounds and drives great, it was restored I think in the late 90's and looks like it was finished in 2003. It seems to have been off the road for ten years as there is a gap in the Mot history . The car is pretty good, paintwork is not 100% when up close but looks very good from a pace away. There are a few rust bubbles around the arches but I want to run the stag for a while before I do them. It does not warrant re working them at the moment. Been around the car today and made a list which is mostly small things that need tidying. Underneath is solid all painted up and looking solid. The main work needs to be inside which is not a problem, just a little time needed.
Will post some pics sson!
