After many years of having old rover v8 and stag conversion stuff in the garage i decided to have a clear out.
I have never sold on ebay but am starting to get stuff ready for the evil bay or forums.
Stainless steel exhaust manifold (rover v8 in stag)
Stainless steel link pipes to Triumph stag exhaust system
Rover V8 in Triumph stag manual propshaft spacers (HE30 alloy & H/T bolts to facilitate use of standard Stag 4 spd O/D propshaft)
Rover V8 snub nose water pump
Snub nose water pump pulley
Rover V8 to Triumph Stag engine mounts and rubber
rover v8 alternator
sd1 v8 dizzy? type / name?
lucas. sd1 v8 starter? p6 starter?
sd1 rocker covers - presume they can be used on other rover v8s?
snubnose crank pulley. i bought this for a rover v8 in triumph stag conversion.
offenhauser 360 deg manifold
holley 390 cfm
real steel typhoon cam
Holley air filter cover
Oh, and whilst i'm here i will be adding some more bits / photos soon....
* stag manual 4sp o/d propshaft * stag auto propshaft * power steering pump adjustable bracket kit to use standard Stag power steering pump * aeroquip stainless steel high pressure P/S hose * modified gearshift / adapter plates to facilitate rover gearbox connection * P6 V8 engine * Rover V8 manual gearbox & bell housing * rover V8 torque converter * SD1 heads x 2 * Stag grill pieces x4 (outside and between headlamps)
Im sure there is lots more in the garage
Its quite sad really. i bought a stag and spent thousands on it, but i never actually finished it :(
i bought loads for the rover engine conversion but never even ran the engine.... having a clearout is an odd feeling really. slightly bitter sweet but hopefully i can raise a few quid to help fund some other projects...
I think i'll be either sticking stuff on the bay or popping a few for sale posts soonish (the mrs is going to nag about the boxes very very soon!)
Hehe :) Its all top quality stuff, most of it from a chap called Richard Lane from the Brighton Stag Specialist years ago. Just its got to find a new home!
To be honest i'm still trying to get an idea on what it is all worth. I spent a small fortune on all the stuff many years ago so obviously i want to try and get as much as i can, but at the same time i also want to shift it (there are lots of boxes in the house and the wife's tolerance will probably stretch only so much! :)
I was swaying towards ebay but i could be swayed by a good enough offer that would stop the agro and fees that come with selling on ebay.
If you are seriously interested then pop me an email with some offers against the bits you need.
If you are local you are very welcome to come and have a look at the stuff.
