Welcome to the forum All - I'm Lewy I've had the Stag since July as a restoration project still not got her on the road! but hopefully for next summer!
Welcome to the forum. Still building things up. Just need to get some more members and propagate all the sections with some juicy posts now! Mainly the suppliers section - trying to get a load of links together for all aspects... parts, trim, steering wheels, modifications etc etc all with telephone numbers and website addresses - The more people that help the better!
I want this place to be a free hub of information for the stag worldwide... not a club as such but a place for everyone to find the much needed information on the stag in one place rather than trying (and I've tried) to find thing through the search engines. I want to get a great community going on... It's been successful on my corn snake website (my other hobby ) we're getting 1000 people hit the website per day at the moment... if I can do the same with this through great information and keen marketing with no annoying adds then this place will be full and a stag information heaven in a month or so! (hopefully)
well... I'm ranting a bit now But WELCOME TO THE STAG MAD FORUM!!!
I hope it doesn't go members only - That would be a really big mistake for them... the idea of a forum is to make sticky content... to bring people back and get them interested in what you have to say. The SOC could do with a good marketing person to iron out it's problems and get more members. The internet and email technology should be used to push their message, not hide it away. Hopefully they'll figure that out sooner rather than later.
Nice to have you on board Steve! I will get those new photos you sent put up when i get chance Welcome to the forum!
One thing about your layout ,Im finding it difficult to read some of the buttons with the stags behind them in the same colour.ie active topics and register. Not trying to pick holes as the rest of it is fab, just my eyes have got to that "not so good " age.could you put some solid colour behind them pretty please.
