Hi there from Brisbane, Australia. I have just joined this site but have owned my 74Stag for some 18 years and have now pretty much finished a rolling restoration. I haven't kept strictly to original though. Bosch electronic dizzy, holley carb, Datsun half shafts, 15inch mags ( I never did have original wheels at purchase), oil cooler and spin on filter,leather upholstery, cibie CSR lights, lowered(1/2 inch) progressive rate springs, Bosch 65amp alternator.
Brisbane has the best climate to use this beauty. take today- mid winter and it is 24C and not a cloud to be seen!
I would welcome any thoughts on exhaust headers. My last dyno tune gave me 128 BHP at the rear wheels- probably about 160 at the flywheel. Is there likely to be any further improvement with a better exhaust system? |

but my stag is still being restored so no fun in the sun for me by the looks of it this year.
